The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, living, authoritative, and trustworthy. It is our final authority for faith and life.
2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21
Our beliefs are the foundation of everything we do — how we worship, how we care for one another, how we teach, and how we live. This is a summary of what Grace Fountain Church holds to be true, grounded in the Bible and consistent with historic Christian faith.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, living, authoritative, and trustworthy. It is our final authority for faith and life.
2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21
We believe in one God who exists eternally as three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in nature, distinct in role, united in purpose.
Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14
We believe Jesus is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. He was born of a virgin, lived without sin, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to heaven where He reigns as Lord.
John 1:1–14; Romans 5:8; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4
We believe the Holy Spirit is active today, convicting, guiding, empowering, and gifting believers for life and ministry. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the continuation of spiritual gifts.
Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4; 1 Corinthians 12:4–11
We believe that all people have sinned and that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not earned by works.
Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 3:23; John 3:16
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, to make disciples, to care for one another, and to be a witness to the world.
Ephesians 1:22–23; Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 2:42–47
We believe that every follower of Christ is called to a life of worship, obedience, and sacrificial service. As believers, we are to live in a way that honours God and does not bring reproach upon the name of Jesus.
Romans 12:1–2; 2 Corinthians 6:14–17; 1 John 2:15–17
We believe in water baptism by immersion as an outward expression of an inward faith, following the example of Jesus and the practice of the early church.
Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3–4
We believe in the regular observance of the Lord’s Supper as a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice and a declaration of His coming again.
1 Corinthians 11:23–26; Luke 22:19–20
We believe that God heals today, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, through prayer, faith, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
James 5:14–15; Isaiah 53:5; Mark 16:17–18
We believe in the bodily return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the reality of eternal life for those who trust in Him.
